WELCOME TO THE CASTLETON OWNERS' CLUB WEBSITE

The Castleton Owners' Club was founded in 1961 when Castleton Caravans were being manufactured at Sherborne in Dorset by the Bennett family. The vans were always made to a high hand built specification, with up to date features.

The object of the Club was to encourage the social activities of Castleton owners, provide Rallies and, of course, to improve ongoing sales and design of the vans.

Sadly over the years, the high quality of the Castleton demanded a high retail price and the company gradually lost sales to cheaper and lesser quality competitors models.

The Club has today some 160 members, with an active core who attend Rallies. Each year the Club holds some 18-20 Rallies spread around England and Wales in the Spring, Summer and Autumn time. A large number of the vans are more than 35 years old, are in regular use throughout the UK, a tribute to the quality of manufacture and design of the Castleton concern.
